This little guy has a lot of presence. While diminutive in size he possess the physique and demeanor of a giant. The eyes are slits into convex upward slanting ovals that combined with the bulbous nose stylistically place the figure to the Coastal Ramu River area of Papua New Guinea. The figure has pierced nose and ears, is beautifully painted with red, blue and white pigments and is illustrated in my “Paris 2018” catalog, no. 30. It stands 6 1/8” 915.6 cm) in height, dates to the late 19th/early 20th century and the price is available upon request. Questions?
